Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

ANEW product which acts as an absorbent to remove oil and grease stains from all types of floors, including porous concrete, is announced by Oiltona, Ltd., 464 Alexandra Avenue, Harrow, Middlesex. Sold under the trade name of Oiltona, it is believed to be the first dry oil-remover marketed in Britain, although similar compounds are used throughout the United States.

Used on fresh oil stains, Oiltona is sprinkled over the whole surface of the oil, left until all the oil has been absorbed, and then brushed with a stiff broom before being finally swept up. Oil-caked surfaces need to be scraped, and the caked oil brought to a liquid state by using paraffin or a solvent, then set...tabbed with a wire brush before applying the Oiltona to a depth of Fin., at which rate of application 1 lb. will cover I sq. ft.

Being dry, Mona should leave no scum or stain and it is said to be noninflammable, non-abrasive, non-toxic and non-poisonous. Oiltona is available in 3-1b. packs costing 3s., from Boots, hardware stores and garages. Bulk quantities can be obtained direct from the manufacturers, priced at £1 15s. per cwt., for orders of 1-10 cwt., £1 12s. 6d. per cwt., for 11-19 cwt, and £1 10s. per cwt. for 20 cwt. and over.
