Contract wins for Clipper and ACS&T
CLIPPER LOGISTICS has won a contract to handle the warehousing and distribution for Americana International, which owns the Bench clothing brand.
The contract will continue to be run from Americana's warehouse in Worsley. near Manchester, which Clipper will take on with a five-and-a-half-year lease. The contract also includes taking on 76 staff at the warehouse.
Meanwhile, frozen food transport specialist ACS&T Logistics has won a three-year extension to its contract with catering supplier 3663. ACS&T runs a consolidation operation for 3663, distributing to each of the food company's 32 depots from a site in Wolverhampton.
