Id rucks & Child Safety is a new organisation launched to teach children the potential dangers of trucks by allowing them hands-on experience of vehicles which are brought to their schools.
TACS slogan is "Stop! It's longer, taller and wider than you think!" Children are allowed to sit in the cab to see how difficult it is to spot children and adults who cycle alongside or stand at the front or rear of the unit. They are shown the driver's blind spots and taught not to ride their bikes on the inside of trucks turning left. The campaign hopes to go some way to curb the deaths of 500 children killed
