Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Volkswagen is to introduce Stanadyne fuel injectors on its 1.9-litre indirect-injection fourcylinder diesel engine which is used in naturally aspirated form in the Transporter and, with the addition of turbocharging, in the Golf van.

The 21mm pintle-type injectors will be supplied from Stanadyne's plant in Brescia, Italy.

At present Volkswagen uses Bosch injectors: the injector change will not affect the 2.4litre five-cylinder diesel which is also used in current models of the Transporter.
