Harassment
-Unwanted conduct [or grounds of gender, race, disability, religion, sexual orientation or age] that has the purpose or effect of violating [an employee's] dignity or creating an intimidating, hostile, degrading, humiliating or offensive environment for [him or her]."
The definition above comes from the discrimination legislation. Harassment is not defined in the Protection from Harassment Act, The act says that harassment must take place on at least two occasions and includes any conduct that alarms someone, causing them harm or distress.
