Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

What does the Minister of State for Public Health make of the idea of walk-in centres for transport workers?

Commercial Motor's Health Challenge is our ongoing commitment to the health of transport workers throughout the UK. We are providing services, speaking to ministers, and encouraging employers and workers alike to take responsibility for their own health and that of their workforce.

Part of this campaign was a series of free health checks offered over the past three months. We tested more than 400 men for blood pressure, glucose, cholesterol, pulmonary or postural problems. But what struck us most was that, regardless of their personal level of health, all these men found it hard to attend regular GP appointments and a significant number asked for health services Lobe situated near to them —at truckstops or container ports, where they could access healthcare more easily.

So we wrote on your behalf to the Minister of State for Public Health asking for wider, better-sited healthcare provision for the transport industry. Here's our letter and the minister's reply.
