Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Should operators have incentives for moving to Euro-5 before the deadline? CM allows both sides to put forward their arguments.

The manufacturers have been at loggerheads over the benefits of Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) and Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) technology and the related argument over whether incentives for operators to move to Euro-5 would be a good thing. So we invited them into the pages of CM for an old-fashioned debate. The motion: "It is in the interests of the market and the environment to encourage the early introduction of Euro-5 vehicles." For: Mercedes-Benz and Volvo. Against: MAN and Isuzu. You decide.
