I N a report on an application by Sutto and Son (St. Helens), Ltd., for 12 nen vehicles (The Commercial Motor, Jul 13) it was reported that Mr, J. F. Adam of I.C.I. Dyestuffs Division, givin evidence on behalf of Suttons, stated tlu the alternative arrangements his compan had made following complaints abot Suttons' service to Scotland were unsath factory and that they would utiliz Suttons' new vehicles.

In fact, no such statement was mad in evidence by Mr. Adams and it I understood that the revised arrangement I.C.I. Dyestuffs Division have made fc their traffic to and from Scotland hay proved entirely satisfactory_ The Con mercial Motor is assured that at not contemplating a further change i their transport arrangements, irrespectiv of the decision on the Sutton applicatiot
