It is stated that this will differ con.siderably from the normal urban types operated. For example, a layer of insulation material is to be sandwiched between the internal and external panels of the body. It is claimed that this will enable a temperature of 14-15 degrees C. above zero to he maintained when the ambient is 30 below zero, whilst in summer it will protect the passengers from excessive heat.
Apart from this, a ventilation and heating system will be employed, and for additional comfort the scat backs will be adjustable. Suspension will include the use of rubber-cushioned springs. No other details are available at present.
