THERE will he a general discussion on the subject of heat transfer at a conference to be held in London from September 11-13, by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
It is expected that no fewer than WO papers will be presented, of which two, similarly titled, will have a direct interest to the commercial vehicle industry. The subject will be "Heat Tr a usf er in Internal-combustion Engines," the respective authors being J. F. Alcock, B.A„ M.LIVIe,ch.E., and C. F. Taylor, an American.
