ALDERMAN BRADLEY, Of Bolton, appointed a member of the National Transport Advisory Committee, has been on the executive of the Municipal Transport Association for four years. For 18 months he has sat on a special committee of that body to advise the Ministry on alternative fuels for road transport. Ile also serves on the National Joint Industrial Council for the tramways industry.

MR. FLEETWOOD C. PRITCHARD has been appointed public relations officer in the Ministry of Transport. He is chairman and joint managing director of Pritchard, Wood and Partners, Ltd., a concern of advertising agents. Ma. R. H. HILL, C.B., has been appointed deputy secretary to the Ministry of Transport, in succession to SIR ALFRED ROBINSON, K.B.E., C.B., who retired on August 1. MR. GILBERT S. SZLUMPER has been appointed to succeed Mr. Hill as railway control officer at the Ministry.
