ACCO UN' l'S FOR Felixstowe-based haulier CP Transportation Services show it was experiencing considerable growth before its licence was revoked for operating as a 'phoenix' business.
Traffic Commissioner Geoffrey Simms disqualified the company and directors Adam and Anthony Searle for 12 months in all Traffic Areas from 31 December 2006. Accounts show that turnover for the year ending 31 March 2007 was up 335%.
Adam Searle is now involved with another Felixstowe firm, a haulage clearing house called SSK Distribution. He declines to comment on the results, but says he does not intend to reapply for an 0-licence.
