As the result of the increased demand for showroom caravans, Messrs. Romany Caravans, 407, Montrose Avenue, Trading Estate, Slough, Bucks, have introduced a roomy two-wheeled outfit, weighing 12 cwt. unladen and priced at £150. It provides 6 ft. of headroom and is 15 ft. long and 6 ft. 2 ins. wide. A sleeping compartment is located at the front, whilst in the showroom portion of the body there is ample locker space around the walls.

The outside panelling is of Masonite hardboard and the inside panelling of plywood; the framework is of ash. The body, is insulated with Alfol to exclude noise and cold. There are two windows which open on each side, and they have four : adjustable positions ; they are mounted in draught-excluding frames. The door of the :showroom is at the rear, whilst the sleeping compartment

has a separate entrance on the near side at the front.

' In the triangular front compartment there is a bed 6 ft. 2 ins, long, which folds into the wall. The equipment includes a wash-basin in a cabinet, a paraffin stove carried in a zinc-lined cupboard, and a Wayfarer portable radio set,

Stabilizing feet are provided fore and aft and may be raised and lowered by means of a brace. The drawbar is of a patent type and the brakes come into operation on the overrun.
