Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Transport and logistics giant Gist has begun using a tracking system to warn drivers of impending bridge-bashing incidents.

Gist has 11 vehicles from its Barnsley depot fitted with the Bridgeclear system. Drivers input the height of their vehicle before a journey and receive visual and audible warnings about bridges the vehicle will not pass under up to 40km away. The system also indicates what road the bridge is on so drivers can work out an alternative route.

Gist says the system cost around £200 per vehicle plus a monthly rental fee, and is mostly used on double-deck vehicles.
