• Snap-on Sun Tech Systems has developed a roller brake tester to suit all classes of CV.
The Sun 7000 can handle vehicles with axle weights up to 18 tonnes and a maximum of nine axles; it measures braking effort, efficiencies, imbalance and ovality.
Test procedures include a staged automatic programme sequence. A bar graph display which shows contrasting left/right results is claimed to be unique to this range.
Sun has also launched the SIC 8000 heavy-duty truck tyre changer and the CM 8000 wheel balancer for trucks and buses.
