Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

ADDITIONS to the Hipope range of tailboard loaders made by H. C. Pope Ltd., 8 Elm Street, Northampton, result in there being three capacities now made. These are 7-5 cwt., 14 cwt. and 1 ton.

The hydraulic ram and lifting cables are in the vertical side members of a fabricated steel structure which fits to the rear of the body. These side members also incorporate guides for the tailboard supports. On the 7.5-cwt, model the tailboard is normally 2 ft. 6 in. deep and on the 14-cwt. and 1-ton versions it is 3 ft. deep.

Power is obtained from a gearbox-mounted power take-off and pump unit, but a battery-operated unit can be provided if required. The control valve is mounted at the inside rear corner of the body and allows for fine adjustment. A pressure-relief valve guards against overloading.

Prices for p.t.-o. operated units are £185, £200 and £215 for 7.5-cwt., 14-cwt. and 1-ton models respectively. Battery-operated units are an extra £40. Fitting charges vary from £30-£35 and delivery is from four to five weeks. Ease of fitting is said to be a feature of the design and the units can be installed in two to three days.
