I AM concerned about the forthcoming closures of a number of LGV testing stations (CM 24 March), and the effect it will have on training companies.
We expressed an interest in providing these facilities at our site, but the conditions were so onerous that we and the majority of companies would not meet the DSA criteria. The majority of training companies do not have their own facilities and rely on the DSA to provide testing facilities at VOSA testing stations.
Does this mean that they will take examiners away from VOSA test centres to conduct tests at customer sites?
At present we ind it impossible to secure enough tests at our regular test centre, due to the closure of the test centre at Croydon. Edward Pargeter Director EP Training Services
