Mr. Giffin is at present hon. secretary of the Mid-Antrim branch of the Association. MR. T. A. MACNEARY, Enniskillen, the former lion. secretary, has been appointed hon. assistant secretary of the central body.
.MR. C. BANKS, A.M.I.A.E., A.M.I.T., who was trained at Sheffield University and has been connected with maintenance work on passenger transport in Southern India, and, in an advisory capacity, with numerous companies in England and Scotland, has set up a speeial department for this class of work at Fitzwilliarn Street, Bradford. He has already travelled to many parts of the country in this connection.
Owing to a steady increase in sales, an extension of the commercial-vehicle department of Ro•otes, Ltd., has become necessary, and this section has been placed under the management of MR. W. E. BRIDGEN, who has a specialized knowledge of commercial vehicle matters, and will be located at Lord's Court, St. John's Wood Road, London, N.W.8.

RAWDON SMITH. at present the public relations officer of the London Passenger Transport Board, who, on April 17, takes charge of public relations for Imperial Airways, Ltd. He has been public relations officer of London Transport since 1935, and is one of the leading publicists in the transport world.
MR. STANLEY HILL, whose portrait appears on this page, has been appointed area sales and service superintendent in the South of England for F. Perkins, Ltd., of Peterborough. He has had experience as maintenance engineer with a, number of bus and goods-transport concerns. • He was with the Ribble concern prior to joining Messrs. George Ewer and Sons, of Loudon, as maintenance engineer, and later was works manager and maintenance engineer to J. N. Zarpas and Co., Nigeria. He joined the Perkins overseas staff in 1936, and has had much sales and operating experience, particularly with oil engines, in Portugal, Gold Coast, Nigeria, Carnerocms, French Sahara, India, Burma and other countries.
