Accommodation for L.C.C.'s Growing Fleet.

There is a suggestion in hand that the London County Council should build a depot for ambulances, buses, lorries, etc., in Camborne Road, Wandsworth, to replace the existing premises at Carnwath Road, F-ulham, The Metropolitan Asylums Board main tained a fleet of some 150 vehicles at•the latter depot, but, in the near future,

the council will have to deal with about 350 machines, and the existing accommodation is inadequate.

The Camborne Road depot would, according to' a preliminary plan, contain a repair shop of 34,900 sq. ft., and would, it is estimated, cost about £42,500.
