Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Elle first major AdBlue story of 2008 is GreenChem's evelation that the price is on the move-upwards, of course, evrth a €0.02/lif (1.4p) rise as of 1 January.

Blaming a doubling of the cost of urea since the beginning Df 2006, GreenChem MD Teun de Bruijn adds: 'Since all energy costs are continuing to rise, including that of iaturai gas, we predict that the price of AdBlue from all Tianufacturers will have to rise further during 2008." With around 30 roadside outlets in the UK, GreenChern :'..urrently has the edge in network coverage, although both it and Airl are heavily centred on central and northern England. ts outlet-finder website is claimed to be updated daily.

Yara Airl

YOU might notice that one of last year's players, Dureal, seems :o have vanished. It was actually taken over by Yara in late 2007, raising Airl 's profile still further..

Its use of a bulk tanker ship carrying a million litres at a time, and a new fleet of road tankers for the UK and Ireland, had already helped, as had a new partnership with ReD Fuelcards. There's a new Sandbach, Cheshire-based Airl customer service department and a dedicated engineering team to provide installation and support of bulk tanks and dispensing equipment at operator bases and retail sites.

Although it reports a slower than anticipated initial demand, Volumes are now on the rise, including through the Volvo and Nee() networks and independent motor factors.

' The 20-strong UK roadside network is still small compared with the 450 or soon the Continent, and Yara is currently assessing where the network will have gaps to fill once the pureal network is fully absorbed. UK business manager Paul Norman is more optimistic on the subject of price increases and is hoping for more stable pricing at realistic levels.

BlueCat

As we were completing this survey we learned that the blueCat arm of J&H Bunn has been taken over by the Dublin-based Brockley Group, which plans to increase the brand's presence in the retail arena.

FindAdBlue.com

What should be a valuable independent resource has significantly increased its coverage since last year. The website covers both roadside and dealership sources, with a good search function by area and route.

Where outlets are identified, the information is good, with contacts, street-level mapping and comprehensive details of services and facilities. The site now includes the ability to download overview maps of roadside sites in many Furopean countries. www.findarNue.com
