Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Stemco Truck Products has introduced an improved range of easy to fit wide-band exhaust clamps from either aluminised or stainless steel. The new clamps are of an open, pre-formed design with integral captive nuts and locking pieces. Only two loose bolts (supplied) are required to provide a secure 3600 gas tight joint without deforming components. There is no need for additional sealants or welding.

Stemco exhaust clamps are now available in an even wider range of 10 sizes, from 21n to fin diameter and in two for mats: lap joints for connecting rigid pipe to flexible hose and butt joints for securing rigid to rigid pipe. With thread relief on bolts and captive nuts, fitment and adjustment is easy. The clamps are equally suitable for ready-assembled pipework.

Other products in the Stemco range of exhaust components include: flexible tubing and connectors, elbows, stacks, raincaps and `Lr clamps.

Stemco, part of Garlock (GB), markets a wide selection of components including hub seals, hubodometers, hour

meters, friction products and automatic compressed air system drain valves.
