• The first Slideback recovery body from Brimec (UK) to be fitted with the new overhead car carrier has gone into service with car salvage company Cornerway Garage of Greenfield near Bedford.
Mounted on a MercedesBenz 814 chassis, the overhead platform is fully hydraulic in operation, and available in ramp of full-width form. It has a payload of two-tonnes. A wheel lift at the rear gives the option to lift and tow a third car while the HAP 610 crane is used for lifting severely damaged vehicles.
