• Hein-Werner Corporation has announced the purchase of Blackhawk North American and European operations including Blackhawk Automotive Ltd.
Blackhawk is the Automotive Division of Applied Power Inc. and is already well implanted in Europe; one of its manufacturing units is situated in Ashford, Kent.
Hein-Warner is a leading USA manufacturer of lifting equipment, frame straightening equipment for trucks and cars and a line of engine reconditioning equipment.
As a result of the combination of the two businesses the Hein-Werner product line will be made available through the Blackhawk European organisation.
