Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE Northern Traffic Commissioners, whose proposal to establish a stop for northbound buses, either on the new A19 road in County Durham, or on an adjacent slip road, was opposed by the Northern General Transport Co Ltd and the local authorities (CM January 17), have overruled the objections.

The proposals were made to meet the requirements of residents of Cherryknowle Farm, cut off by the new road from the existing stop.

After a further visit to the area the Commissioners have established a request stop in the slip road between the new Al 9 and the old road.

Mr J. A. T. Hanlon, chairman. said due note had been taken of the representations made concerning possible danger. It seemed to the Commissioners that the stop now established would prove hazardous only if someone was to drive dangerously behind the buses. If the mere possibility of danger was to be taken into account, buses would stay in their depots
