• PM On Board, which specialises in high accuracy onboard weighing equipment, has introduced a new bin lift weighing system.
Intended to weigh trade and domestic wheelie bins as they are being emptied, the new equipment can be mounted on to all types of lifting systems on any front, rear or side-loading refuse unit. The operation is automatic with almost no slowing of the loading process.
Such is the accuracy achieved—complying with OIML regulations—that customers can be invoiced based on the weight of material collected from each bin.
It will also recognise RF ID tags, allowing bins to be identified for statistical analysis.
