Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

AN order for seven 39-seater semi-coach bodies has been received from Halifax Corporation Transport by Pennine Coachcraft Ltd., of Royton, Lancs. The bodies are to be mounted on AEC Reliance chassis and will he used on stage and private hire work.

Semi-luxury seats upholstered in Moquette are to be fitted and laminated plastics and stainless steel will be widely employed for the interior finish.

This contract is the fourth for p.s.v. bodies to be received by the company since their initial exhihition of a bus body, one of six for Great Yarmouth, at Earl's Court last year. It is proposed to exhibit one of the Halifax bodies at the 1966 exhibition.

Marshall Bodies for Portsmouth : Portsmouth passenger transport committee proposes the acceptance of a tender from Marshall of Cambridge (Engineering) Ltd. for 12 singledeck bus bodies at a cost of £2,978 each. They will he the first Marshall bodies to be purchased by Portsmouth and will be mounted on Leyland Panther Cub chassis already on order.

Burton Seeks Higher Fares: Faced with £13,000 a year extra costs to meet wages and working hours awards, Burton-on-Trent Corporation Transport is to apply for higher fares. If granted, the 44-cl. fare would rise to 5d. and all fares above 5d. would rise by Id.

Lothians Survey: A £150,000 transportation survey of the Lothians, embracing roads, rail and air communications, location of housing and industry and population trends and movements, has been approved in principle. Government support has been promised on a substantial scale and the authorities involved are Edinburgh, Midlothian, East and West Lothian counties and the new town of Livingston.

Managers' Meeting: It IS proposed to hold the annual managers' meeting of the Municipal Passenger Trausport Association in Leicester on May 11 and 12, 1966.

More Atlanteans for Stockton: Stockton-onTees Corporation is ordering seven Leyland Atlantean double-decker bus chassis for delivery in 1967, and is to obtain tenders for supplying the bodywork.

One-man for Birmingham : The No. 27 bus route of Birmingham Corporation Transport will be the first of the city's established services to be switched to one-man operation. The change is due next month.
