Rave been acquired by Cyprien-Fox (Transport) Ltd., of London. They are 1. Priestley and Sons (Warrington) Ltd. and E. B. Rees Ltd., of Newport, Mon. Both companies are operating 25 heavy vehicles.
As from January 1 the staff and activi• ties of the Cyprien-Fox Manchester office will be transferred to Warrington where there are depot and warehousing facilities. The company will then operate as Priestley Transport Ltd.
The administration of Rees will be merged with the Newport office by the formation of a new company trading as Cyprien-Fox (Newport) Ltd. These recent additions follow the acquisition of the Burrows Group, as announced previously.
St. Albans Acquire A. T. Scammell TT has been revealed that St. Albans Sand 1and Gravel Co. Ltd has acquired A. T. Scammell Ltd. of Plaistow. The company operates a container service and undertakes site excavation and clearance with a fleet of 15 vehicles and a range of contractor's plant. The directors of A. T. Scammell Ltd. will he Mr. Alex Shutes and Mr. Anthony Shutes, directors of St. Albans.
