• Volvo Truck and Bus's recent acquisition of east of England distributor DuffleIds for an undisclosed sum will not result in a radical change to the operation.
The business will continue to trade under the Duffleids name. Managing director Tony Sadler (pictured) and the senior management team will continue in their roles, and no redundancies are expected.
DuffleIds has sites in Norwich, Cambridge, Bury St Edmunds, Felixstowe, Great Yarmouth, Ipswich, Enfield, Wisbech, Thetford and Peterborough. A Volvo distributor since 1969, it has 403 staff and an annual turnover of 66m.
