NI Delco Remy's new parts catalogue lists a full range of European heavy duty starters, including KB, JD, JF, BNG models and CAV starters and alternators. They will be on show at next month's Autornechanika.
With more than 30 factories—including one in Lichfield—in 14 countries, Delco Remy serves both OE and aftermarket users on a 57%/43% split. In the US it supplies 85% of all OE users, including Cummins, Cat, GM, Mercedes-Benz, Renault and Volvo. But a significant part of the UK heavy duty market uses the familiar Bosch-type KB, JO, JF starters, and these will be produced to OF standard and sold direct via its distributor network.
