• This week sees the introduction of a weekly Travelcard by the West Midlands Passenger Transport Executive. It allows unlimited travel on bus services within the PTE area and costs £1.25 for adults (60p for children).

The weekly Travelcard follows the successful monthly version, of which 32,804 have been sold since last October. The monthly ticket is still selling at the rate

of 400 per week and it will continue to be available at the same price of £4 (n for children).
