An application by a group of shareholders of the Standard Motor Co., Ltd_ for the appointment of an inspector to investigate the ownership of the company is being considered by the Board of Trade. Easing Traffic Congestion: Meters would alleviate London's parking. problem. but not solve it, Mr. A. Samuels, chairman of thc London and Home Counties Traffic Advisory Committee, said on Monday. He is one of six members of the committee who have spent three weeks studying Canada's parking-meter system.

The publication outlines the training facilities open to boys wishing to become motor mechanics, and gives details of the five years' -apprenticeship and examinations.
