NOTTINGHAM MAKES A PROFIT AGAIN THE annual report of Nottingham i Transport Committee, published on Tuesday, shows that for the second successive year the undertaking ' has made a profit. The total is £56,281, compared with £54,480 the previous year. There will, however, be a deficiency at the end of the current year and, says the report, consideration will soon have to be given to an increase of fares.

Total income rose by almost £100,000 to £1,858,282. Reserves and revenue balances now amount to a little under £50,000, which is the most favourable position that has existed since 1949.
