Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

While the Renault deal marks the entry point for iFleet into the light commercial sector, a new joint-venture deal with DAF dealer Chatfields, effectively giving the north of England dealer group its own R&M product (CM 15 July), sees iReet flex its muscles in the heavy truck sector.

'Chaff ields has traditionally relied on the manufacturer's R&M offering," Davies continues, but that's effectively a fixed price maintenance package and it's down to the dealer to derive the value out of it. Our venture with Chaff ields allows the company to take R&M back in house, but also to add much more. For instance, Chatfields Contracts offer pro-active fleet, compliance and duty of care management as standard, we can link R&M with contract hire if required. and give the customer the peace of mind that they are only paying for what they use.

"We can reinvent fleet management services, they are set in law and enforced ever more stridently. but we are reinventing the way these services are managed and administered." The deals with Chaff ields and Renault have put Fleet on a firm footing for the future, and no doubt the next time we visit the company offices the empty desks will be filled with account managers offering a seamless service to users.

But iFleet isn't stopping there. Discussions are under way with other truck and van manufacturers as well as contract hire companies and end users. "We remain on track with the business plan," Davies says,'"ancl we have further exciting plans that we'll bring to market to ensure we stay ahead of the game."
