Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

isettacea°

We are a firm of shipping and forwarding agents — with port offices in Dover, Folkestone, Portsmouth, Southampton, Poole and Plymouth — dealing almost exclusively, with cross-Channel ro-ro freight.

We have been working hard to attract business to the Brittany Ferries Portsmouth to St Maio and Plymouth to Roscoff services, and were concerned on reading your article (CM September 2) to find no mention of either of these rapidly expanding ro-ro ports.

This is a great shame as facilities and services available to the drivers are excellent, the Customs clearances are very quickly attended to, and these routes are used regularly by a number of well-known hauliers. 1. G. BARNETT, Channel Ports Forwarders, Albion Works, Kettering Terrace, Portsmouth.

• Details of the Britany services appeared in last week's CM. — Ed.
