Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

LARGE SCALE fraud was alleged when a leading firm of road transport and forwarding agents and their London overseas manager appeared at Liverpool Crown Court on charges of cube cutting.

The company, Kuehne and Nagel Ltd of Borough High Street, Southwark, and Christian Horst Hentzschell, 31, of Malden Hill, New Malden, Surrey, pleaded not guilty.

They are charged with conspiring, together and with other persons, between January 1970 and December 1974, to defraud Fletcher & Stewart Ltd, Cleveland Bridge, Engineering Co Ltd and Monsanto Chemicals Ltd by falsely representing to those companies the amounts of money by way of charges, dues and fees, which they had paid or were liable to pay to various shipping companies in respect of shipment of goods for and on behalf of the said company.

They have also been charged with conspiring to defraud other companies.
