TRANSPORT workers' leader Jack Jones wants to start British section of the continental drivers organisation — Routiers — that has been successful in raising standar( food and accommodation for drivers in Europe..
But this week, Continental Freight Drivers' Club gei secretary Richard Reed told CM: "The name is ours — bu will be pleased to co-operate with him on it.
"We are delighted about the idea and we are going to wri Mr Jones to suggest a meeting to see if we can co-operate or in some way."
In Europe, Les Routiers stops are noted for being clear having menus with good value and yet good food as well.
