Garage lifts are featured on the Tecalemit kgineering) Ltd. stand (163), and include c Tri-tee, the Tecstar—a two-level four)st platform lift—and a four-post Spaceaster. In addition .Tecalemit displays its iassis lubrication systems.

Battery chargers, auto electrical test eters and tubeless tyre repair outfits are displayed by Stenor Ltd. on Stand 177. Serck Radiators Ltd., show a selection of ;cessories on Stand 239. These include uided Flow Oil Coolers, radiators and ng-range fuel tanks.

On Stand 222, Car Plates Ltd. has a com.ehensive range of pressed aluminium and astic digit plates with a wide application. The chassis dynamometer again finds -ominenceon Stand 181 where Layeock ngineering Ltd. display it along with the

At this year's Commercial Motor Show it is very much "as youwere". This may not be a bad thing as there must always be a period of stocktaking and re-development in every industry and this industry is no exception. It is perhaps also a sign of the times that what new accessories are on show are related in some way to road safety. There are a few accessories directly concerned with lighting and there are those designed to reduce driver fatigue—both factors connected with safe driving.

The Equipment Engineering Co. Ltd. (Stand 392) shows a wide variety of accessories and equipment. Of particular interest to coach builders and operators will be the Eco Routemaster bus destination and route number indicator. It is possible to design layouts so that all screws in any one unit can be operated by a single handle. The Quiclip number plate and holder for use with tractor and trailer is on display together with the new seven-digit-in-one-line plate.

Since the 1964 Show vehicle security has become an important feature of operation. Waso Ltd. (Stand 359) displays a number of locking devices. Certain export markets demand steering locks and these are prominently displayed. New to the Show this year is the Waso windscreen washer conversion kit. This converts manual operation to power operation. Vacmobile Manufacturing Co. Ltd. (Stand 384) displays Glass Fibre, and there will be demonstrations of glass fibre repairs. J. H. Peck (Wigan) Ltd. (Stand 380) introduces Butylite, a synthetic rubber sheeting, the application being for waterproof liners and lorry sheets. Terylene core spun canvas although light has an exceptionally high tear strength and this is demonstrated on the stand on which is shown the application of natural and synthetic fibres in road haulage.

Have you ever travelled with faulty lights without realizing it? P. M. G. Thorpe Ltd. (Stand 343) displays a warning device which will reduce such a risk. The unit ELFI (Essential Light Failure Indicator) warns, drivers if any one of up to 20 6 w. obligatory lights is not functioning. The device will work successfully and easily on a vehicle or trailer. There is also a wide range of all types of lamps and indicators on this stand.

Speedgraph Ltd. (Stand 241) shows for the first time at Earls Court its latest version of the Hubometer. This is a completely sealed unit, housed in a diecast aluminium cap designed to replace original hub-caps on tractor or trailer units. The meter registers distances in miles and kilometres and is of particular use where tractive units and trailers are being continually interchanged. The recording instruments on this stand include models to show speed driven, distance travelled, and exact standing and running times.

Sends Recorders Ltd. (Stand 227) has introduced its new speed recorder. The additional model available covers the range 0-110 m.p.h.

Kangol Magnet Ltd. (Stand 201) has advanced in the field of commercial vehicle seat belts with the introduction of the Super LD3. It is claimed that the belt is easy to fit and inexpensive.

In addition to its display of safety belts Britax (London) Ltd. (Stand 387) displays the Britax mudflap, monogrammed free of charge for orders of 50 pairs or more; webbing harness for loads; steering column locks, and fourand six-way flashers to create a vehicle "safety zone".

The magic effect of the word economy will undoubtedly attract visitors to Birfields Overdrives Ltd. (Stand 366) where two Laycock de Normanville overdrives are on display. Type D is suitable for vehicles under 2 litres capacity and type LH on the heavier vehicles. It is suggested that this equipment will bring to light vehicles the advantages enjoyed by the heavies with their two-speed axles.

Interchangeability of commercial mirrors is the theme of Magnatex Ltd. (Stand 265). This is a follow-up to the interchangeability introduced for cars and the adoption of the scheme, it is claimed, assists hauliers to reduce their stock holding of flat Or convex mirror heads.

Flexable Lamps Ltd. (Stand 240) displays transistorized flasher units which are unaffected by vibration and contain no moving parts. A new addition to the company's range of goods is Junction Seven, designed to take bullet or snap connectors.

Aeon Products (London) Ltd. (Stand 370) shows many new applications of its rubber springs both as supplementary and sole suspension.

Driver comfort is the theme of A. W. Chapman Ltd. (Stand 282) showing a new version of its Superide suspension. The adjustment on this seat operates independently, vertically and horizontally and also to suit the driver's weight.

Seating is also featured by Cox of Watford Ltd. (Stand 393), featuring the Drivemaster Mark 2, which is of cours fitted as original equipment on certai: Scammell and AEC models.

Trieo-Folberth Ltd. (Stand 280) feature heavy duty equipment in windscreen wipe design. Anticipating future cab design, i has used two compressed air motor synchronized and mechanically coupled t operate three 20-in, blades with 18-in, arm mounted at the bottom of the screen. Trio also introduce windscreen washer kits whic enable the operator to select and specif the component parts best suited to his ow needs.

In addition to its lighting equipmer Marehal Distributors Ltd. (Stand 29S displays its range of 999 equipment whic has been tested by European police, fir brigade and ambulance services.
