14R. W. McCREADY, managing IVL director of McCready Bros., Ltd., Liverpool, whose haulage business was acquired by British Transport Commission in August, is continuing in road transport, having purchased the business of David Bruce and Co., Carlton Street, Liverpool.
Mr. McCready is a member of the committee of the North-western (Western) Area of the Road Haulage Association and is an area representative on the long-distance panel. He also serves on the national council of the R.H.A.
David Bruce and Co. is engaged in short-distance haulage with three tractors, two 8-ton vehicles and four trailers.
