• Platform hire company Facelift has bought a 25m-reach Denka Lift 131_25—the fi-st in the UK—and has ordered another. The Danish-built electro-hydraulic unit is mounted on a lightweight trailer which can be towed by a Land Rover or a panel van. The trailer incorporates a self-powered, two-wheel drive system for on-site manoeuvring. Power for the 200kg capacity platform comes from a 48V battery with eight hours' operating time.
