THE trading profit of Dennis Brothers Ltd. for the year ended September 30, 1962, was £205,134, an increase on last year's trading profit, which was 1136,730. This year's profit after taxation was
£99,927. •
In his statement the chairman of Dennis Brothers Ltd., Mr. D. J. Grimes, said that the acquisition of the Fire Appliance section of Alfd Miles Ltd. has now been settled with a consideration of 123,266 payable in cash. Mr. Grimes went on to say that all the 1963 Dennis vehicles have the same frontal appearance and, now that the new gearbox and transmission are incorporated, the vehicles . are virtually completely manufactured by Dennis, other than for proprietary engines. Their fire engines now have disc brakes, he said.
