Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THERE was a general drop in the 1 registration of new commercial vehicles in August as compared with the figure for the preceding month. This is to be expected as August is generally a slow 'month for the industry in general because of the holiday season.

Compared to the figures for August, 1961, there was a slight drop in registrations: August, 1962, 19,807, as against 20,101 for August, 1961. Additionally, the total number of registrations for the period January to August, 1962, shows a fall over the same period for last year.
