MR. P. FATENALL, an instructor of F. Perkins, Ltd., has flown to Melbourne to meet the Perkins mobile school which left this country in October. He will be" in charge of the schoOl when it visits distributors and operators of Perkins engines in Australia.
MR. L. E. FIELD, F.R.S.A., M.I.R.T.E., has resigned his position as chief service manager to Campbell, Symonds and Co., Ltd., and is opening business to-morrow as L. E. Field's Auto Services, Ltd., at 248, Kingston Road, New Malden, Surrey. There is a sixpump filling station with a compact workshop equipped on American lines.
MR. E. V. RALPH, formerly a director of Red and White Services, Ltd., is going to Nairobi for three or four months to investigate passenger-transport facilities, but he is not (as reported in "The Commercial Motor" on November 16) to become managing director of Kenya Bus Services, Ltd. MAJOR K. A. BROWN, managing director of that concern, retires from active service at the end of the year, but a successor has not been appointed. MR. A. S. KENNARD, assistant managing director, will assume executive responsibility.
• MR. R. C. TArrAm has resigned from the patronship of the Yorkshire Transport Society following his retirement from the general managership of Bradford Transport. Department. His successor as patron is MR. C. T. FlumpiDGE, the new general manager. Mr. Tattam was recently made a presentation by the principal of Bradford Technical.Collegc, MR. H. RiCilARDSON, for his work in connection with the Society. Having Played an active part in its foundation in 1937, Mr. Tattain was president of the Society until 1949, when he became patron.

MR. W. A. 'FERGUSON has been appointed transport representative at the Glasgow depot of the Dunlop Rubber Co., Ltd. He will cover the counties of Ayr, Wigtown, Renfrew, Dunbarson, Lanark and Dumfries.
