MAJOR K. A. BROWN, managing director of that concern, retires from active service at the end of the year, but a successor has not been appointed. MR. A. S. KENNARD, assistant managing director, will assume executive responsibility.

• MR. R. C. TArrAm has resigned from the patronship of the Yorkshire Transport Society following his retirement from the general managership of Bradford Transport. Department. His successor as patron is MR. C. T. FlumpiDGE, the new general manager. Mr. Tattam was recently made a presentation by the principal of Bradford Technical.Collegc, MR. H. RiCilARDSON, for his work in connection with the Society. Having Played an active part in its foundation in 1937, Mr. Tattain was president of the Society until 1949, when he became patron.
