AWELSH-SLATE tablet inscribed: " In tribute to Frank Pick, 18781941, a scholar of this school. He served his fellow-men, made transport an art and sought beauty and good design in all things," was unveiled at St. Peter's School, York, by Lord Latham, chairman of the London Transport Executive, last week. Sir Frank Pick was vice-chairman of the London Passenger Transport Board frbm 19331940.
