r Fuchs' Hydraulik steering swivel pin press is said to speed up axle removal. The press can be used either as a mobile device or in a static mode, and is available with a choice of two hydraulic power ratings.
The 40-tonne unit comes with an integral hand pump, while the heavier 65-tonne press has a separate hand pump and wheeled trolley frame. There is a wide choice of accessories to suit each version, including various adapters, pressure bolts and collets for different vehicle types. Fuchs also sells a range of mobile pit jacks and under-floor ram lifts for the heaviest CVs.
