loCKWELL International Automotive Operations have introduced pigot wheel fixings across the entire range of their front single ear, and tandem axles.

The spigot design, segmented with scallops to provide ten )calised lands to locate the wheel, is said to reduce the likeliood of wheels seizing onto the pigot due to corrosion.

Wheel nuts, with integral flaticed washers, use right-hand iread all round. Measuring 1mm and 33mm across, flats flow current 1/bin BSF wheel pi nners to be used.

A special length spigot and stud are avaialable to fit aluminium wheels, while conventional spigot and stud lengths are also available for fitment of steel wheels,
