Scotland A77: A 12 tons axle limit and 50 ton gross vehicle weight lim applies at the Water of Girvan bridge until December 31.
M90: In Fife, subsidence has closed the outside lane of boi carriageways for one mile, south of junction 4 (Kelty).
Northern England A1(NI): Contraflow traffic will be in operation until mid-Novembi on a 5.6-mile section from north of the Blind Lane interchange (A1€ !Chester-le-Street) to south of the Carrville interchange.
Ml: There is southbound carriageway resurfacing between juni tions 28 {Leyland) and 29 (Preston) until July. An alternative route via A6 and A49 to junctio?i 28.
M6: Both carriageways will be resurfaced for three and a ha miles north of junction 35 (Carnforth). Contraflow arrangements wi be in use until the end of June.
In Merseyside, extensive work continues in the Inner Ring Roa in the city centre. Congestion is frequent.
Ml: Between juncions .30 (Sheffield South) and 32 (M18 i terchange) in South Yorkshire, all southbound lanes are closed • traffic. The hard shoulder and inside lane of the northbound carri geway are also closed and severe delays are expected.
Midlands Al: The Foston by-pass in Lincolnshire will have its northboun carriageway closed until late June. Ml: Until early October there will be continuous 24-hour two-wa traffic on one carriageway from junction 16 (Northampton West) ft four miles towards Watford Gap.
M6: Until August, all traffic is sharing one carriageway betwee junction 1 (Rugby) and junction 2 (M69 Coventry).
South-east England Ml: Contraflow traffic is in operation for 16 miles from Watfon Gap services southwards to two miles south of junction 15 unt November. For part of the time, sliproads to and from the south bound carriageway will be closed at junctions 15 and 16, but not a the same time.
A321: Resurfacing work between Camberley and Frimley in Su rey is likely to cause peak time delays.
In London, rehearsals for the trooping of the colour ceremony o• Horse Guards Parade take place on May 30 and June 6. Severe streets in the area will be closed from 9am on both days and parkin. restrictions will apply. The actual ceremony will be held on June 13.
A3: There are extensive road improvement works south of Guilc ford between the Wooden Bridge and The Cathedral turn-off unt mid-August. Delays and serious congestion are expected.
Wales and the West Due to partial structural collapse of the Boars Head Inn at Cheste Street, Mold, a temporary one-way system has been introduced ir Mold Town Centre for an indefinite period. Through traffic shoul avoid the area.
M4: Various lanes on both carriageways will remain closed be tween junctions 24 (Monmouth) and 25 (Newport).
