Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Warranty schemes, renamed Mechanical Breakdown Insurance (MBI) in some cases, vary between trucks and manufacturers. If you're going into a dealership armed with cash for a new truck, your warranty should include: the engine, the cooling system, the fuel and ignition systems, the electrical system, the gearbox and transmission system, steering, suspension and non-frictional clutch and brake system parts. Some also cover air-conditioning systems. Ask your dealer if breakdown recovery is covered this should lead to a

refund of the recovery charge following a successful warranty claim. It's also worth asking what is acceptable wear and tear. Excluded parts include: the clutch, the brakes, the catalytic converter, the wheels, tyres and exhausts, as well as damage to paintwork, bodywork, glass and headlights. Ask about optional extras such as audio and hands-free systems from the manufacturer's own approved list, and on-board engine-management systems. Traditionally, any retro-fitted equipment that results in a claim will be rejected.
