I’M SURE IN AN ideal world hauliers would love to have a solid workforce made up of trusted friends and family, but I am thinking that more are looking to agency drivers in a bid to beat the tough economy.
To try and offset problems in the sector such as rising fuel costs, we are seeing a number of employers actively promoting driving techniques that will help create vehicle fuel eficiency, and looking to us for agency staff.
I think that in future we will see more hauliers going down the same path.
