Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

CM's used truck tests will kick off again with the Axor — a truck designed to fulfill the needs of the fleet user.

Next month sees Commercial Motor get its teeth stuck into used truck testing after a sixmonth fast.

Our intrepid testers will be checking out vehicles from all the van and truck manufacturers with Mercedes-Benz kicking off the latest round of tests with its Axor tractor.

No product is as eagerly awaited at the moment as Mercedes-Benz' answer to 9perators needing a 'suitable allround fleet tractor option' .The new Axor was designed specifically to address a defined area of the market rather than being just another evolutionary stage in an established range — 1 hence the anticipation as it emerges on to the used market.

It is now in its third year of production. Recent policy has seen M-B's Approved Used Commercial division direct its returning products back into its dealer network and although a fewAxors will find their way into the independent sector, most will be. available through authorised channels.

Our 'used test truck' will be an Axor 2543 6x2 tractor with a sleeper cab. Over the next year we will put all the major contenders from the last three years through CM's UsedTruck Test.

And there are plenty of impressive products to select. Daf Truck's new generation CF85;Volvo's FM and FR range; Iveco's Stralis and EuroCargo;Foden's new generation Alpha; ERF's tractor line up...to name but a few •
