• Scottish 30 vehicle haulier Finlay Guy is discussing an acquisition to expand its recently launched truck rental divi sion more quickly. The Haddington, East Lothianbased company wants to offer more short-term rental of medium weight trucks and vans.
Director Roddy Tulloch says: "We've got our first trailers out on hire and we hope that by the end of the month we'll have more signed on the dotted line."
Tulloch wants to double the size of the Haddington-based company from when he and his partner bought it in 1988. It has the finance to build its fleet up to 50 Volvos.
